Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevy Camaro RS Z28. This Camaro has gone through a full resto and is believed to be a Real RS. It is however a Z28 tribute. This car has killer eye appeal and is a great driver. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Camaro. The body is laser straight down the sides with good fit of all the panels. It comes with the 2" Steel cowl hood along with the front and rear spoilers. Everything is covered in the Tuxedo Black Paint that is accented by the White Z Stripes that are painted on under the clear. The paint has a slick finish and looks great in the jams and inside the trunk. When this car was restored new bumpers as well as other new chrome was installed. The window trim and drip rails all look very good as does the glass. All the weather stripping was replaced along with new window felt. To finish off the looks this Camaro is sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Polished Aluminum Coys with new tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the '69. On the inside it's done in the classic black with bucket seats and console. The seats are covered in the Black and White Houndstooth. Also, you'll see the console houses the gauge pack and Hurst Shifter with the Chrome Knob. Looking at the dash it has the 140 Speedo and the 6000 Redline Tach. The steering wheel is the custom grip wheel. The radio has been changed to a vintage AM FM and this Camaro does have seat belts.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by a '69 Model 327 that's dressed with Aluminum Valve Covers and Intake. The carb is a Holley with the factory style breather that seals to the Cowl Hood. The alternator was changed to a chrome unit with chrome brackets. The ignition is MSD. Also the headers are coated with dual flows. The Trans is a Muncie 4 Speed that's mated to a 12 Bolt Rear End. This Camaro has Four Wheel Power Disc Brakes with the front being factory and the rear being upgraded. It also has Power steering. When you look under it the pans look good with one being changed.
We are selling this to be a Z28 clone. If we can help you in any way with questions or a specific picture, you can call our office at (865)988-8088. Or feel free to call Daniel at (423) 807 0600, Devvin at (865) 256 2366, or you can e-mail us at smokymountaintraders@yahoo.com.
