Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967
The contrast between high performance and a subtle color is always appealing, and this cool 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible looks exactly right, wearing white with contrasting black SS stripes. With deep luster in the fresh paint, a highly original interior, and an upgraded 350 under the hood, it's an awesome machine that delivers exactly what you want in a vintage performance car, at a bargain price.Compact but muscular, this is the car that created the legend. The first-year Camaro was a simple design that allowed small details to have a big impact. It also helps that this one has undergone a restoration to make sure it has super straight sheetmetal and quality paint. The result is a classic convertible that strikes the perfect mix of originality with the right upgrades. They kept the original hood with its factory inserts, the ducktail spoiler, and front air dam - all of which together makes this an aggressive-looking ragtop that doesn't lose its F-body identity in the process. The dual black stripes are a nice match to the newer folding top, and they follow the factory pattern to finish out the aggressive package without being overbearing. Excellent chrome bumpers and bright stainless on things like the windshield surround add a bit of jewelry. And of course, everyone loves Chevy's iconic Rally wheels.Inside, black Strato buckets look authentic, and amazing, with a matching seat cover on the rear bench. But an aggressive black interior doesn't feel right unless the door panels, carpets, and dash are also in great shape like they are here. This one feels very authentic and original when you slip behind the factory wheel, and see all the bright trim that has telltale signs that it hasn't been messed with in nearly a half-century. But there has been some room for improvement, too. This has a trio of auxiliary gauges on the center console, and just above that a modern AM/FM/CD stereo head unit fits neatly into the original AM radio's slot. So you get all the original pieces you like, but the right upgrades to make this a comfortable cruiser. Power comes from a sweet-running 350 cubic-inch V8. While there are plenty of components dressed for show, you're going to be having too much fun enjoying how it feels on the streets. This small block as been upgraded with performance components such as Weiand intake, Edelbrock carburetor, MSD Pro-Billet distributor, and long tube headers. The full package makes a wicked rumble out of the Flowmaster dual exhaust that let's people know this is no ordinary '67 ragtop. Plus, there's only about 7K miles on this motor since it was rebuilt/installed, and the same goes for the TH350 three-speed automatic. Whether you want to use this Camaro convertible for comfortable cruising, or high-power hijinks, you'll be glad you've got front disc brakes and Dunlop GT Qualifier tires backing you up.Here's a first-year Camaro that's got a great look and drives even better. There are even plenty of receipts to see the extent of the work (yes, even the floors are Rhino-lined!) We know this kind of package will never go out of style, which is why we know this Camaro will be leaving our showroom soon. Call today!!
