I located this car in Feb 2015. It had been parked since the 1980s in a barn in central Alabama. This is a true SS396 1970 Chevelle. The most sought aftet musclecar on the planet barr none. The car still had the original buildsheet behind the door panel and protect o plate was in the glove box. The car is in very nice shape considering being parked all those years. It has only minor rust and is truly an excellent candidate for a full restoration or just fix up and drive. The original engine and transmission are not with the car. It has a 454 in it now that the bottom end was knocking badly. I began removing engine and stopped and decided to let purchaser build a engine of their choice. The purchaser may be interested in locating a correct 396 so I decided to halt the rebuild and sell as is. Definitely a investment quality musclecar and one that will holds its value with the SS396 documentation. A true barn find southern car with documents.
