This 1968 Chevy K-20 is a complete frame- off restoration that has been transformed into a beautiful classic with some modern touches.
During the restoration, the body was stripped down to bare metal. Every bolt and screw in this beauty has either been replaced or reconditioned. New fenders, doors and '66 style bed were installed during the restoration. A custom made Ash woo bed floor with stainless steel fasteners and trim add that classy touch that sets this beauty apart from the rest. The refinish was done in a top of the line, gorgeous "Dark Cherry" paint by PPG.
The interior features power leather seats, custom door panels, vintage air and an Alpine CD player. It's cleanly styled, and is as comfortable as you can make an old pick-up truck. All the wiring is brand new with a Painless wiring harness. The entire cab has been completely sound deadened, so all you hear is the low rumble of the engine.
This beauty is powered by a 355 4 Bolt Main engine and a TH 350 Automatic transmission. All newporcelaincoated headers go to a 3" exhaust Flowmaster mufflers that give this classic a nice throaty rumble while cruising down the streets.
The truck has a completely redone 2" suspension lift and a 2" body lift that makes for a nice and tight ride for a four wheel drive. Perfect for a Sunday (or any day!) drive down the open roads. Power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes also add to this smooth ride.
