Here is a nice one-owner rust-free southern California1985 ChevroletMonte Carlo SSwith a recently installed new crate motor. The car currently has 193,420 original miles and the crate motor was installed at 183,195 miles by a local shop in 2014. The new motor has slightly over 10,000 miles. I am selling this vehicle for a friend and co-worker who does not have an eBay account. He bought thiscar new in 1985 here in Riverside, CA, and has maintained it regularly either himself or at local automotive shops. He is an aircraft mechanic, so he knows his stuff. The car runs well, and is ready to go anywhere in the country. This year alone he has replaced the upper and lower ball joints and bushings, turn signal switch and accompanying wiring harness, new air conditioning compressor, drier and hoses, fan clutch and water pump, rear shocks and springs, brakes and rotors, and transmission mount and rear pinion seal. Additionally, a new carburetor and alternator were installedthis yearas well.The car comes with two spare T-Tops (one for each side), an original radio that works and some spare door electric switches. The radio currently in the car is an aftermarket upgrade, which will also be included. He has a binder of all maintenance records from when the car was new and that will go with the car. There are a few minor scratches here and there as shown in the photos. The car was painted at MAACO about 6 or 7 years ago.
