When looking at the ’69 they didn’t change a lot from the ’68 with only a grill change and they went to a bigger tail light. The one we have for you has had the engine upgraded to a 502 Big Block and has more of pro touring look with the 18” and 20” Wheel. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. When you walk around it the body looks good with nice lines. The fit of the panels is good. Everything is covered in the Garnet Red Paint that is accented by the White SS stripes and white top. The paint has a deep rich shine that shows well. but shows a little age from where it’s been drove. It has the correct SS Hood and Trim. We would say at the time of the resto that they installed new bumpers and other trim. The stainless around the windshield looks good along with the grill. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American Racing Wheels with new tires. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the Convertible. On the inside it’s done in Red that complements the exterior perfectly and makes for a killer look with the top up or down. It has bucket seats and console. To keep with the stock look it has the Horse Shoe Shifter. All the seats. carpet. and door panels look good. It has an AM/FM 8 track which you don’t see any more. When you look at the dash it all looks correct. It has a tilt column and the factory steering wheel. Finally we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s powered by a 502 Big Block Chevy engine that has the Aluminum Bowtie Intake and 4 Barrel Carb. It’s dressed with the Stock Style Chrome Valve covers and chrome Breather. To keep it cool it has a 4 Core Radiator. The trans is a 400 Turbo with a 12 Bolt rear End. It has the stock manifolds and 3” Flow master Exhaust. Also it comes with Power Steering. Power Disc Brakes. and it has Factory AC. When you look under this Chevelle all the floor pans look good as well as the frame.
