This ’72 Chevelle was the last of this body style. Some say it was also the last of the muscle car. They didn’t change a lot form the ’71 model with only minor changes to the grill and marker lights. The rest of the car looked like a ’71. The one we are offering is done in Fathom Blue with the White SS Stripes. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. The body is straight down the sides with good fit of the panels. The white stripes accent the Fathom Blue Paint well. The paint has a slick finish with a deep rich shine. At the time of the resto they installed new bumpers as well as other trim. All the glass looks good along with the stainless. It has the standard cowl hood with the pin kit. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” Boss Wheels with the 3 Bar Spinner. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’72. On the inside it’s done in the black with bucket seats and console. Also it has the horse shoe shifter. It looks to have nice carpet and appears to have a new dash pad. It has an after-market radio and also has a GT Steering Wheel and Tilt Column. Finally. we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a 383 Small Block with a 350 Turbo Trans. The engine is dressed with chrome valve covers and breather along with an aluminum intake. It has the stock manifolds with dual exhaust. This is a factory non AC car but it does have Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. When you look under it you will see a 12 Bolt Rear End. When you look at the floors they look solid with straight frame rails. Over all is this a good driver that has a good look and is a car that you can drive and enjoy.
