Description for Chevrolet C-10 1962
!!!Exceptional Barn Find!!!Just look at this untouched, soft and mellow time-earned patina! It;s as good as I've found in years. An original, unmolested farm truck from the high-plains desert of the American West. This is what everyone is chasing, right now. Congratulations, your quest is over. This is as a good a foundation for a restoration as you'relikely to find.
Reserve price is less than the Buy-It-Now Price, which is good value already. This series of GM trucks continues increase in value as untouched factory original examples get harder to find. In fact, all GM trucks are appreciating. The double edged sword of the internet.
EXTREMELY desirable 1962 GMC G10 / Chevy C10 Fleetside LWB, in Custom cab trim level.
- Chrome, Chrome, Chrome! Every chrome trim option was ordered when new. and it's virtually all there, in fantastic shape. It hasn't even been polished yet.
- This has the rare wraparound windscreen offered only from 1960-1963.
- The GMC-only chrome quad headlights look fantastic and much more luxe than the regular Chevy trim.
- In the pictures you see, nothing has even been cleaned, yet. The potential is tremendous.
The body is straight as they come, and untouched. Rust is very, very, very minimal. Far better off than the overwhelming majority of these and pics of the effected spots are clearly depicted.
I just took possession of this. I am listing it on eBay, before I put the well worthwhile labor and parts costs in it, and then increase the price to reflect value that will be added. No doubt, your vision will differ from mine. So, snap this up to make it exactly as you see it in your imagination.
The V6 305 c.i. engine cranks fine on a new battery, but I have not gone through a detailed start-up procedure in preparation of getting it road worthy.
