It is a3 speed manual transmission, column shift.It wasMeticulously restored (rotisserie) to show quality a few years ago.the 1956 Bel Air is considered by many fans of the “Tri-Five” era cars to be the perfect balancing act of the mid-fifties flagship Chevrolet. Beyond its balance of old and new, the ’56 was also a stellar performer in its day, with a win at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb and a 24-hour Darlington speed record to its credit.
