Description for Chevrolet C-10 1964
1964 Chevy truck C10 Stepside. Truck has been parked outside for over30years and is in need of complete restoration. I purchased this truck as a project but never really did anything with it. The truck has minor rust on the toe boards and a small hole in the rear corner of the cab. I purchased aftermarket floor pans and rocker panels which need to be cut out and welded in to make a solid truck again. As well as the corner cab piece. The original wood in the bed is rotted through but has a thick rubber mat on top of it.The engine is a straight six from a 1965 truck and a 3 speed converted to the floor. I replaced the fuel pump, cleaned gas tank and truck will start and run, but will need to be completely gone through. Replaced brake master cylinder, but never finished bleeding the brakes. Bought a few other parts which include: aftermarket front fenders, instrument cluster glass and all new knobs, lighter, headlight switch, rear license plate holder/light and chrome rear bumper. Tailgate is a very nice original that I found hanging in a barn and has one small ding on the top edge. Passenger door has some messy Bondo on the inside bottom, so I will include a clean door that I bought. Truck is missing rear taillights and were never purchased. Will include blown up wiring schematic, original truck owners guide and a Chilton's repair manual.Great summer project and would take very little work to get on the road. Buyer is responsible for pickup/towing. The truck is located in Riverside, California. The truck rolls, steers and all tires hold air, but no brakes. If scheduled ahead of time, help will be available loading truck onto a trailer. An immediate deposit of $250 through PayPal is required by the winning bidder and the balance paid within 7 days of the end of auction. Truck has also been for sale locally and will end eBay auction if sold. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact David at (951) 300-8623.
