1970 Chevy K5 Blazer 4X4 Not 2WD K-5

Description for Chevrolet Blazer 1970

Up for sale is a One family owned 1970 Chevy K5 Blazer 4X4 that was parked up near Placerville for the last 21 years. We picked it up a few months ago & trailered it back down to Fresno & started getting it ready tohit the roadagain. The body is fairly solid, The doors shut nice & tight, it has a small dent in the right front fender, & one on the bottom behind the right rear tire. Locking hub's. Still has the SPID on the glovebox in nice shape. It had a repaint in the 80's that is showing it's age. The top look's to be in good shape. all the glass is good & the window's roll up & down. It does have some rust but mainly just in the passenger floorboard, kick panel& top of the rocker in the door jam, butnothing like some of the blazer's I've seen on here.Rodent's built nest's in themuffler's so I had a set off new glass pack's installed. We installed a new starter &voltage regulator along with a new Edelbrock 1406 Carb& a full tune up & fluid's changed. We also replaced all the belt's & hose's &both universal joints on the rear driveshaft.The 350ci. run's & sound's good, & the TH350 transmission drive's & shifts smooth. Has BFG 32x11.50x15 mud terrain's on it with lot's of tread remaining. The dash is clean & un-cut with an old cassette player installed. The steering wheel has seen better days. Has a custom bumper on the front with an old school Warn winch (with the remote cord) & KC lights mounted on it. The rear bumper is tweaked on the right corner & can probably bent back into shape. The seats look good under the cover's but need to be cleaned. The backseat is included but need's to be redone. In the rear it had a wood floor with storage compartment's & a platform for sleeping while camping, we removed all that & found the floor to be solid underneath with no rot. Has an aftermarket under-dash A/C system, all component's look to be there but is not charged. Still has the factory roll bar & spare tire carrier installed as well as the factory side trim. We replaced all the parts in the steering column so now all the lights & signal's are working. The drum brakes pull a little to the right under hard braking I'm sure they just need to be adjusted. It runs cool in traffic with no overheating issue's. With that being said it's a 46 yr old truck I'm sure it'll need a little tlc once the new owner starts driving it daily.
