STK 2158 1985 Chevrolet Blazer The S-series Blazer, so named because it was based on the Chevy S-10 pickup trucks, began production in 1982. The first generation ran for an amazing 12 years (through the 1994 model). At some point in time, creative folks decided it needed a bit more power than GM was providing. Enter the small-block conversion - good drivers and great fun. A 350ci crate motor powers our 1985 Blazer. It is topped with an aluminum intake, 4-barrel carb and Edelbrock dress-up kit. The Mighty Mouse resides in an engine compartment that is done-up as nice as you will find. A 3-speed automatic and stock differential back the engine. Underneath, full tube headers exit through a free-flowing exhaust. The front and rear suspension set-ups appear to be basically stock with power steering and power disc/drum brakes. Our Blazer received a full re-spray at some point. The finish is in fair condition, but the body is straight and solid. It sits nicely on a set of period-correct alloys and good radials. The original factory interior is in fairly good shape - cloth upholstery, headliner, and door panels are somewhat worn, but still very serviceable. An aftermarket AM/FM/CD stereo is housed in the dash. This Blazer is a solid, reasonably priced performer that could serve as a daily driver. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
