This vintage 1978 Corvette, 25th Silver Anniversary Addition, is all original, and is very nice. It handles very well, tires and wheels are very good, and body is good with no physical damage, other than normal fading or spider webbing from over 40 years. It’s currently licensed for the road as an antique, but I only drive it about 2 times a year. All the lights, AC and heat work, I had a factory cruise control installed in it to keep it original. It has floor mats. it has the factory alarm system on it, however I never used it,because I kept it in the garage, so I am not sure it works.All the glass is intact and the power windows work. The AM / FM radio works, but I don’t play it, because I rather listen to the engine roar. The engine is a 350 4 barrel carburetor, with an automatic transmission.The "T" top has the storage bags for when you take them off, however you have to put a little white lithium grease on the seals to help keep them supple and keep them from leaking. Any leakage would be minor, but the seals are 40 years old, they need a lubricant to help keep them soft so they will seal. This I not a car you keepoutside, or drive in the rain, so a slightly seeping seal was not a problem for me. If I told you the top never leaks, would you believe it?No you wouldn’t, so Ibelieve in the truth and I value my eBay feedback.

The paint and interior is original, shows signs of little to normal ware and tare for an original car of its age that is garage kept, but still in good original shape for its age. The clock doesn’t work, and the trip mileage counter doesn’t work, odometer works and reads 58300 miles, it was sold to me as original miles, and for its condition, I would believe it. It has a cough when you tromp on it when taking off, and needs a minor carburetor adjustment, some sea foam, and run more than I run it. However, it smooths out after I run it and get limbered up. It needs run some, I get it out 1 or 2 times a year and it just needs run more. I never fooled withthe carburetorbecause I am a Sunday driver with this car about 2 times per year, and it has plenty of power for me, its not a kids car. I have done a lot of work on the car, replaced all the breaks, and front calipers, spark plugs and the usual maintenance and repairs you do non cars. The car is mechanically sound and ready to run; it just needs an owner that has time to drive it, plus I need my garage space now.
