Description for Chevrolet Impala 1967
Call the Winchester boys!This ghoulishly beautiful Impala was restored as a tribute to the hit TV show, "Supernatural." This 4-door hardtop beast sports less than 35,000 miles on an all-original, all-American 283 "Small-Block" engine with all numbers matching. The monster-hunting classic even includes the original A/C option and original hub caps. This immaculate machine demands such a presence, it's spooky.
::Edit::
A few issues with my posting have arisen, so I'll explain in better detail.
This car is a 'tribute', not a 'replica'. As a fan of classic cars more than the show, I chose to keep the numbers matching 283 engine with powerglide transmission in the car rather than building a 327 engine. I also chose to keep the hubcaps rather than replacing them to match the show as those elements would score better in a car show than replicating a show that 95% of the people at the show would likely have never seen.
The A/C is not factory. It was an optional add-on fitting in with the times and is mounted under the dash, hence it being listed as an A/C 'option'.
It is a running, driving, 1967 Chevrolet Impala, 4 door, hardtop sedan model. No posts.
The interior is all original as well, the car having been garage-kept from the start. I have an additional set of seats already reupholstered in black vinyl, leather wouldn't do too well in Texas, and sitting in storage. I also have the tan vinyl for door panels, dash pads, etc. I do not have the time or the space to finish, hence the sell.
