Description for Chevrolet Blazer 1983

This is a work in progress! The engine is a fresh rebuild with edelbrock intake and 750, transmission was replaced about 200 miles ago by previous owner. Truck has all new true dual exhaust with flowmaster super 44's and long tube headers. Brand new (never even touched the road) Mud Claw Extremes in a 285/75/16 (33") and a recent 4 inch lift kit. This thing starts right up, sounds like a beast and looks like an ugly beast. Since this is a working project (driveable as is) I have a ton of parts that will eventually get onto the Blazer:
All new 6 (quad up front) shocks (Rough Country N2.0)
All new steering stabilizer shock (Rough Country N2.0)
All new tie rods and ball joints
All new brake hoses in braided steel
All new bushings for sway bar and leaf springs (poly red)
All new Mud Claw Extremes 285/75/16 (4)
All new weatherstripping for top, doors, front windows (incl vent windows) and rear window (felt and all) tailgate weatherstripping
All new power regulators (motor and regulator) for front doors
All new front door hinge pins and bushings (annoying clunking old door fix)
All new front hubs, brake discs and brake lines (Raybestos ceramic pads)
Calipers have been painted with caliper paint (red)
All new front bearings and seals
All new rear bearings
All new steering wheel bearings and turn signal cams (annoying steering wheel wobble fix)
All new media player/stereo with removeable face with all the inputs/bluetooth/android, etc
All new Curtis hitch mounted in rear with wiring
Now for the bad - this thing is ugly and inside is mostly removed. Previous owner rhino lined inside and out then changed his mind on the outside but failed to take it all back off. Then plastidipped the outside in black. Not the most effective job cosmetically but sealed it up. The rocker panels on both sides need to be replaced ($20 each at LMC) and there are 3 small dents that need to be pulled and bondo'd about the size of a golf ball. Will eventually need rear window motor and regulator (does go up and down but super slow and pauses occasionally). Both side quarter windows will need to be replaced. The external components for the A/C are missing, no compressor or condenser. Haven't touched rear brakes yet and all the usual differential leaks (seals are less than $10 each). Transfer case has a leak that I haven't explored yet. There are a few gauges that are not hooked up.
Now for the good - The truck frame and rest of body is solid. Lights work and has recent inspection. Basically needs an interior and exterior make over but ready to roll (once I get the front end buttoned up). Motor is strong, sounds great, starts right up an idles like a new truck. Tranny shifts like new.
If you are up for a partially finished/in progress solid Blazer K5, this is the one. You buy it and basically get all the mechanical systems as new (either in a box still or just installed). Pick your own color, grill, emblems etc. Once I finish putting this together it will easily be worth $10K and with paint and interior this is all day $18-$20K.
Back story is I wanted a toy that I could daily drive. Then changed jobs and realized putting in one part at a time (not enough time in the short day) will keep the wife in a irritated state until complete. I have clear title in hand. I would love to keep this and watch it transform but I just don't have the time with the new job. Take it and make it your own.
