1949 Chevy Short Box with a rebuilt 1962 235 6 cylinder motor 12 volt charging system. The truck is in excellent mechanical condition, new brake shoes, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. The motor starts on the first turn and runs quiet, no lifter noise, fires on all 6 cylinders, no smoke, no oil, or coolant leaks. The front end is tight and steers easy, the truck rides and drives great. the brakes stops the truck very good. The interior has been all redone as you can see in the pics. All the windows are new, with new seals. There are no rust through issues with this truck. All the body panels are original to the truck, the cab corners are original with no rust, or previous repairs. The floor and kick panels are original rust free factory metal. The doors open and close perfect, no saggy hinges. The steering box has no excessive play.The box floor is new wood, recently replaced. This is a very dependable truck that can be driven any place at any time with no worries, or concerns.
These pictures were taken the first part of this year, the truck has been in storage since that time.
