Description for Chevrolet Suburban 1972
1972 3 Door Suburban
All Steel, extremely solid, no rust, has never seen salt, this vehicle is from Las Vegas. Have the Las Vegas, NV Title.
Motor & Transmission run excellent. Was told it’s a 383 Chevy Stroker but we have not looked inside yet to check so we have it listed as 350. If get a chance to feel in the balancer and there is a counterweight that would be a good sign that it may be 383. Fluid Damper Balancer, After Market Heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake, Edelbrock Carburetor, Turbo 350, tranny shifts great.
Air Ride Suspension with pump & tank. Newer Jensonstereo system with flip up screen, don’t know much about it, not even sure how to turn it on. I have the manual
Factory Front and Rear A/C. Alarm System.
Have a Power window kit for it, not installed yet.
needs some TLC has a power steering leak and some engine leaks.
My plan is to remove the engine and trans to completely clean the engine and trans and frame. Change every gasket reinstall. change out the air ride suspension to lowering springs and custom GM rally wheels. Maybe section the rear wheel wells to fit 325 radials. Paint the roof white and flat black the rest and install the proper front grill assembly headlights and taillights. I wanted to put in a turbo 6.0 but the current engine runs to good and has the factory air. The Suburban can be available with these upgrades at a additional cost but for now I am putting it up for auction for some one to do there own customizing and starting with a rot free body.
Thanks, Dave at DGRE
