Description for Chevrolet Nova 1971

This is a 1971 Nova which has undergone a complete frame-off restoration. This car is a driver and built to do about anything. It can be a daily driver with exceptional gasmileage for a muscle car. This car will take corners at 70 mph with ease. If any of you have ever beenthrougha build of this magnitude, you will know that it's being sold at a fraction of the price to build.
Vehicle HistoryThe car started as a 1971 base Nova model. It was a green in color and rust free which made it an excellent candidate for a resto-mod.
Body & PaintTwo-stage metallic graphite silver with clear coat color sanded and buffed to a beautiful shine. Front/Rear bumper and grill have all been powder coated black. The front bumper has a few custom touches such as an angled damper in the center along with the 2 LED lights added. The rear bumper also has some custom work with the exhaust mounting to rear bumper. All the trim and emblems have been painted black.
Power PlantThe LS1 engine came from a corvette (C5) base model producing 350 hp from factory. The intake was replaced with a FAST LSX Multi-port Black Intake and a FAST Big Mouth throttle body was installed. It has a BeCool Aluminum Radiator with electric fans keeping this animal cooled off. The coils were upgraded to MSD. Computer was professional tuned by Ed Wright, developer of FastChip, of Sand Springs, OK. The transmission was professionally rebuilt GM 4L60E with high torque gears. A Vintage Air system was added to keep the ladies cool while cruising down the interstate at 80 mph in the hot summer sun.
Frame & SuspensionThe frame holding this beast to the ground originated in a 1968 Camaro SS. It was used because it already had 4-wheel disc brakes with new lines, power-washed, primed, and painted black. It has tubular upper and lower control arms, lowering springs, viking shocks, and front sway bar. The rear end is pro built 12 bolt 3.73 posi backed up with a sweet Aluminum Ultra Support Differential Cover. Cragar S/S Direct Drill Gray wheels were added to keep that classic muscle car look. This car hugs the road like a new sports car.
ExhaustPolished LS Sanderson headers were added for look, performance, and sound. Exhaust flows from headers down to the Borla ProXS Muffler giving it a deep sound.
InteriorNew carpet, dash cover, and seat covers from Original Parts Group. Carbon fiber gauge panel with Auto Meter Cobalt gauges from Classic Dash. Installed a console with arm rest from a newer model car to increase comfort while driving and cup holders to place your drink of choice!
