1968 Chevy C10 Custom SWB

Description for Chevrolet C-10 1968

Listing this for a friend of mine. Up for sale is his 1968 Chevy C-10 SWB PU. This was a frame off restoration with everything either new or rebuilt. The frame was stripped down & professionally painted chassis black. The front suspension received 2 1/2 drop spindles, 5 lug disc brake conversion with new rotors, calipers & pads. CPP chrome master cyl. with built in proportioning valvealong with a new quick ratio power steering gearbox. The rear received a standard C Notch. The 12 bolt rear end was rebuilt with new 5 lug axles &bearing's, a 3:70 gear ratio & all new brake components. Next was the Jasper built 330HP 5.7 350ci V8 with Vortec heads, Edelbrock intake & carb. Serpentine set-up with chrome altenator & a/c cover. Lokar dipsticks, & throttle cable. Chrome high rise valve cover's & a Hilborn scoop to top it off. The rebuilt 700R4 transmission keeps the rpm's low while cruising down the freeway. The air ride system consist of Firestone bags, Accu Air valve block with remote,two 3 gallon tanks & a Viair compressor all hidden under the bed & running through 3/8 lines. Sanderson headers running through a 2 1/2in exhaust system using Flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber muffler's. The side markers were shaved along with the stake pockets in the bed, gas cap& rear roll pan. The fuel cell was relocated to the rear. The bed floor was raised 4 inches using 16 gauge metal. The 2 tone paint was doneinpearl beige & pearl white using all PPG products. The truck then received all new glass, lenses, front bumper & side molding's. It rides on US MAGS U202 20x8 in front on 255/35/20 & 20x10 in the rear on 275/40/20. The interior sports a rebuilt gauge cluster withfactory tach& a rebuilt chrome tilt column by Kev's Classics, black leather seat with seat warmer's, new carpet, headliner & vinyl overlay over the factory door panels. The cab also received new seat belts, door hinges, latches, window & door handles. An ice cold Vintage Air kit was also installed. Sounds come from a Kenwood stereo & 6x9 speakers. Has an alarm with kill switch & power door locks. This is a turn key truck that's ready to hit some show's & enjoy.
