1971 chevelle ss convertible Matching numbers 402 Big Block

Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1971

This is a 1971 Chevelle SS convertible matching number big block car the floors, frame are solid the trunk has a small rot hole in it. I bought this car to restore because it is a matching numbers car. I took out the original 402 big block because it had a cold start knock which I believed to be a main bearing I was going to have it rebuilt during my restoration of this car. I replaced the engine with a 454 big block just so it would be running and able to drive. I was told the original colors for the car was malibu blue with black stripes and black convertible top, someone changed it over the years to blue with white stripes and a white top as you see in the pictures. The top is ripped and the glass back window is broken so it will need a new one anyway. The car has a 12 bolt rear end and a 4 core factory radiato, the person I bought this car from assured me that everything but the top and paint are original. the body is in good shape doors close good. The only reason I'm selling this car is because I just bought a new home and don't have the $ to restore this car right now.
