1963 CHEVROLET CORVETTE
Up for auction is a unrestored 1963 chevrolet corvette convertible. The vette has a 250hp 327 with a 2 speed powerglide automatic transmission. I am the 3rd owner, the second owner purchased the car from a coworker. The car sat in her garage for 20+ years. The previous owner purchased it with 68,000 miles and spent two years bringing it back to life. Rebuilt 250hp 327 (believed to be original but has a odd engine stamp), brake/fuel lines, trailing arms, fuel tank, brakes, bushings, radiator and the list goes on. He tried to keep it as original as possible with the exception of a chambered exhaust system for a little nicer sound. No hit body with original paint and many scratches including one larger on on from fender. The car has never been in a wreck or had any repairs. The interior looks all original, the carpet may have been replaced. Chrome is in good shape though some pitting on tail lights and mirror. The car runs and drives great and has about 70,000 on it now. I have a lot of the original paperwork from the original owner including a copy of the original title with years on registration stamps. This is the third 1963 corvette I have had, the other 2 had a 4 speed. I was hesitant buying this car because the automatic transmission and only 250hp. To my surprise, I love the automatic transmission and I didn't notice the difference in power from the 250hp to the 300hp cars I had. This is a nice no story solid unrestored car. I just replaced the factory radio with a new bluetooth digital stereo that has the OEM look. I will include the OEM radio. Please contact me with any questions prior to bidding.
