Description for Chevrolet C-10 1978
I'm selling my 78 truck, I have owned it for a year or so. I have probably put over 2,000 miles since then. As you can see, the paint is original and shows very well. I would not repaint the truck. It has three small issues on the body, hood has a couple of dents, does not require paint, surface rust above windshield, and a small bubbling on left fender behind wheel. Other than that, I would leave it alone. Bed is straight and in great condition. Tailgate is awesome. Wooden floor in bed needs to be replaced. Interior is complete, but does need a interior kit. From what I understand the Mandarin color is very unusual. All lights, blinkers, and gauges work as they should, with exception of the speedometer. It started squeaking last month and I unplugged cable. It was driving me nuts. The air-conditioning is new upgraded and blows ice cubes. 4 wheel drive works perfect, new hubs installed a few months ago. Engine was replaced with a new GM Goodwrench 350 engine. All smog equipment was reinstalled. Dual tanks on truck also work perfectly.I drive this truck very often and it's hard to find a California truck in this condition. Other than a few small issues that I previously mentioned, this truck is virtually rust free and ready to enjoy. Let the pictures speak for themselves. I have a clear California title. Now, if you need more pictures I will take them. If you have questions, I will answer them. If you want to come inspect prior to bidding you are welcome. But, if you win it, it's yours. Winning the bid is not a invitation to come inspect and try to low ball me for less money. Not going to happen. $500.00 required within 24 hrs. Balance due within 7 days of end of auction, cash or wire transfer. I will assist your shipping arrangements or you can drive it home. Please no calls after 9 pm central time, I also reserve the right to end auction early. Thanks Joe 615-499-2960
