Linda Sinclair bought this car new in 1979 and put 43,000 miles on it until she sold it to the current owner in 1994. Linda had added an aftermarket radio and a rear spoiler to the car, which are the only modifications to how it rolled off the showroom floor. The car is finished in the original Corvette Red (72L) paint over a Red Leather (722) interior. Of the 53,807 Corvettes built in 1979, only 1,913 of them came from the factory in red on red (we actually have two of them in our inventory!) The car has less than 53,000 original miles to date.
The car is powered by the numbers matching 350ci/195hp V8 engine mated to the original automatic transmission with rear wheel drive. Upgraded options Linda ordered from the factory include Power Windows, Rear Window Defog, Air Conditioning, Sport Mirrors, Front Spoiler, Cruise Control, Automatic Transmission, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Aluminum Wheels, Power Antenna, Dual Rear Speakers, and the Convenience Group.
