TThe '51 BelAir was the second year for BelAir. Sometimes known as the hardtop convertible which simply meant there is no post between the front window and the rear window. The car was fully frame off restored. Taken down to the bare metal. Every nut and bolt replaced. It has a 235 ci 6 cylinder engine with a full pressure oil system. The engine is hooked to a 2 speed powerglide transmission. Both the engine and transmission were completely overhauled. The engine starts and runs very well and the transmission performs well. No leaks in either one. It was converted to a 12 volt system with a single wire alternator. Car was painted in trophy metallic blue (bottom) and thistle gray (top. ) The car is equipped with deluxe heater. radio. clock. stoplight finder (magnifying glass on dashboard. wide white tires. trim rings. sun visor. fender skirts. and bumper guards.
