Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1969
BEING SOLD AT NO RESERVE HIGHEST BIDDER WILL TAKE THIS GORGEOUS SS HOME. THERE ARE OVER 110 PICTURES OF THIS BEAUTY IF YOU DO NOT SEE THEM ALL SCROLL DOWN IN THE LITTLE BOX. THANKS!Here is the muscle car you have been waiting for. a mostly original True SS 1969 Chevelle with only 92686 original miles. complete matching numbers drivetrain including the 396 with 325 Horse. Car is loaded from the factory with A/C. P/S. PDB. The car has only received one repaint from its factory Dover White to the Ocean Blue PPG Base Coat Clear Coat that you see. No patch panels. all original sheet metal. super solid. always garaged since new. this car is a looker. The paint is about 9 years old and still shows extremely well with only minimal wear and tear. This SS stands out in a crowd and is sure to be a show favorite. The bodywork and paint is very nice with no evidence of bondo. no rust. all the gaps are perfect. no waves. and a deep shine. All of the trim and stainless is original and in great shape. Even the bumpers are the original ones from 1969 and still look extremely good as you can see in the pictures. Underneath is super solid not a spec of rust anywhere. No patches. no cover ups. just factory 1969 Chevelle Metal. This beauty was one family owned and always garaged. The original numbers matching 396 with the VIN 333886 suffix JK code was rebuilt about 3000 miles ago and pushes out about 425 horse. It was upgraded with a comp cam . 545 lift. edelbrock aluminum intake. Hooker super comp ceramic coated headers. ARP bolts throughout. MSD ignition with blaster 3 coil. Holley 750 dual pump carbuaretor. K&N air cleaner. and a few other goodies. It is fully equipped with Power Steering. Power Disc Brakes. and Factory Air Conditioning (needs charged). Original Turbo 400 was also rebuilt and upgraded with a 3000 stall. hardened internals were installed throughout. deep sump aluminum pan. racing U-Joints. and a recently balanced driveshaft. The original 12 bolt rear was also redone with hardened axles. a Richmond 4:10 ring and pinion was installed. Eaton posi-unit. and chrome differential cover for the shows. Exhaust consists of as mentioned earlier Hooker super comp headers flowing into 2 ½ aluminum exhaust all the way and exiting the back of the car through the correct chrome exhaust tips. you can hear this baby coming from a mile away. The interior was just completely redone with new front and rear door panels. new headliner. new sail panels. new dash cluster bezel. new seat covers and foam. autometer silver face gaugues were added. Racing seat belts were installed for added safety. everything else is original but still in excellent shape as you can see. All the lights. turn signals. wipers. etc. work as they should. Suspension is mostly original but has had the proper upkeep throughout the years with newer shocks. etc. Rides very nice with brand new BF Goodrich Radial 14” Tires on the original SS rims. Trunk is equipped with the correct full size original spare. Comes with many of the original parts including the original 396 Air Cleaner. the Original Door Panels from 1969. Tranny Pan. and a few other odds and ends. Car shows very well and turns heads everywhere. Only things I noticed on the car is it needs a radio as the original radio is long gone and I didn’t want to modify the new bezel for an aftermarket one so I will leave that to the new owner to decide the route. Also from time to time the car needs to be turned off in reverse before removing the key. it does this rarely and never bothered me and in no way affects anything. I just like to mention any small detail I find wrong with the car. This beauty runs like it should. its a turn key and go. It has never given me one problem and is ready to be enjoyed. I will let the pictures do the talking from here but any questions call Frank at 863-381-3499 if you have any questions or want to set up an appointment to come look at the car in person. Inspections welcome as car is as advertised and will not disappoint. Sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied. please do not bid unless you intend to buy have the funds in order before hand. I have a clear Florida Title. Cleared payment due within 7 days of auction ending unless previous arrangement have been made. Thanks for viewing!
