For sale is my 1989 Chevy 1500 powered by a stock 350 Chevy and backed by a 4-spd auto with only 101k miles. The back story on this is I bought it from a local guy who has had it for the last two years. He bought is from a "little old lady he knew who kept it in the barn after her husband passed away". He said when he bought it, he went through and did a full service with all new fluids, new wheels, new tires, etc. He drove it daily after that, waxing it once a month with Meguiars Gold. He recently had bought a Mini Cooper, and I was trying to buy a trailer from him. I ended up getting both Truck and trailer on the deal. I've been driving it for the last few months, but I am 6"4' and 350lbs. I don't fit as well as I'd like. Soooo...it is up for sale.
The truck is spotless. The paint appears to be completely original according to my local body shop. It shines great with a few small rock chips here and there. Nothing really big enough to capture on my camera. The Chrome is shiny and in perfect shape. Bumpers are straight as an arrow. NO RUST AT ALL. Cab corners are solid. No filler. Carpet is in great shape. Bucket seats are not factory original, but are also in perfect shape. Headliner is nice and not falling or torn. All the electric features work. AC, HEAT, Cruise Control, all lights, radio, etc. All the little buttons on the dash work so you adjust ac and radio. The tonneau cover is paint matched to the truck and is also spotless. It opens and closes with ease. No rust anywhere around the bed or tailgate. Has a Reese Hitch on the back of the truck. The tires are Nexan Rodian HP 275/45r20. They ride great and smooth with no extra road noise. The wheels are 20 inch Boss Motorsports. Under the hood is just as clean as the outside. Tastefully done with little chrome bits here and there. No leaks. No smoke. No ticks. Nothing. Runs just like it should. The truck really couldn't be any nicer. I don't think I have ever seen a truck this old this clean that was actually being daily driven. I have a ton of pictures and would be more than happy to take any extra.
