This Impala was bought new at Hood Auto Sales in Anniston, AL., my hometown. It has a little over 49000 original miles.
283 V8, automatic. Power steering, and power brakes. It runs and drives like it should. The brakes have been gone over, and the fuel system is in great shape. The fuel gauge works. I would drive this car anywhere.
I have a lift in my shop. There is no rust in floors, rockers, quarter panels, or under carriage. Has several small rust spots on the hood, probably due to a local foundry dust, a small amount of rust at corner of back windshield, and a few pin holes in trunk floor. All can be seen in the pictures.
The interior is original, including the carpet, which is in beautiful condition, proving no rust in floor pans.
A little paint and body work and it will make a very nice 49000 mile car.
