Description for Chevrolet Nova 1968
This 2 door 1968 Nova has a fresh 350 engine! It was installed just a couple of weeks ago and has a 350 automatic transmission too. The engine has many desirable performance parts such as headers, aluminum intake, new 600 edelbrock carb, hei distrubutor etc. This is a non-power car with a B&M floor shifter. Underneath looks good and has full subframe connectors too.Inside the car are two new front bucket seats and bench back seat with black upholstery. It has a new headliner and nice black carpet. The car has had numerous parts replaced all over including things such as window felts, door rubbers and trunk seals etc. Has a nice tach and 2 1/2 inch gauges to monitor the cars performance. The speedometer & gas gauge are currently not operational.
There is a new vintage air system in this car too. The engine was changed from a big block to the current 350 so there are still some hoses and a/c lines that will need to be added for it to be operational. It system is all complete, wired and hooked up for you.
The car was painted several years ago and is somewhat showing it's age in areas. The paint overall does look good and has little to no chips or dings. It does have some small bubbling in spots, about 4 yellowed areas and a bit of clear coat peeling off the back stripes. The trunk is solid and the floor pans were already replaced in this car.
The tires are brand spanking new....just installed this week on period correct wheels. It runs nice and strong. 1968 was the first year for this model of the Nova. This is a nice restored car and looks good too. It is ready to drive but you may want to take it to the next level and make it even more valuable! It won't take much more to make it perfect. It has been priced accordingly and priced "reasonable" for a quick sale before Christmas.
