Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1973
Arizona Classic Car Specialties is thrilled to offer this stunning 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring Survivor..!! This car was purchased from the original owner in 1994 with approximately 40,000 miles on it. The car has a well-known local history. The original owner purchased the car in March 1973. This car has never spent a night not inside a garage and has never been driven in the rain. The car still has its original factory paint job, never been restored or repainted, with the original paint showning very well. The fiberglass hood was made custom for this car in 1975. The original hood, with the original paint, is the same condition as the rest of the car and is included in the sale. The original owner informed us that he had to blend the top of the fenders with lacquer because he waxed through the corner in the early 80s. The trunk lid had some issues shortly after purchase in 1973 that required a minor touch up. You will notice at the front of the car, on the nose "RB77". That was the signiture of the pin stripper, Rick Brown, 1977. The car was purchased in 1994 and driven to a few shows. A few years later, the car was moved into storage in California. in 2008, the car was brought out of storage and over the next several year, a GM ZZ571 620HP motor was installed, along with current wheels and tires. Front springs and adjustable shocks replaced the stock units. The car has new suspension componets and body mounts. A complete 4 wheel alignment was preformed in July 2016. You will notice the original paint, glass and interior on this car, It could not have been in an accident. The condition of the vehicle speaks to the amazing well-kept history of the car. FEATURES INCLUDE: Original Paint Original Interior Original Glass Original M-21 4 Speed Original Rear Differential (3:73 gears changed to 4:10) Original Numbers Matching 350 Included (original owner replaced heads with angle cast 202 heads) Never driven in the rain Not Restored Crate ZZ572 620 HP Stainless Exhaust New Suspension Rubber, Ball Joints, Body Mounts Original Suspension Including Z-28 Factory Sway Bars Front & Rear Z-28 Option RS Option LT (replaced SS in 1973) Option Documented GM of Canada Car This car runs cool with electric fans pushing and pulling through a large aluminum radiator. This car runs great, with plenty of power but has never been raced or abused. In the period that the current owner has owned the car he has only put a few thousand miles on it.. This car has all documentation and even a copy of the original build sheet from "Vintage Vehicle Services Inc." A car of this quality and history is rare and hard to find..
