Rare Nice Original 1985 Factory Z15 Chevrolet El Camino SS and Choo Choo SS. This is one of only 2 documented Factory SS and Choo Choo SS El Caminos built according to the Registry. All Choo Choo paperwork states the El Caminos they modified were not factory SS models. But evidently a few slipped through. It is also 1 of 6 documented made in this color.
Chevrolet/GM documentation is included which shows the over 20 factory options including the Z15 factory SS package, the F41 rally suspension, the G80 limited slip rear differential, the V08 heavy duty cooling, tinted glass, bucket seats, console with floor shift, comfortilt steering, cruise control, guages package, intermittent wiper system, air conditioning, and etc. Extra Clean and Rust Free Georgia vehicle. This El Camino has been here its whole life. Clean carfax, and clear title. 2 owners. The previous owner bought it from the original original owner in 87 with 17k miles. He has had it ever since but recently passed away and it was titled in his wifes name only for reasale.
We are about 30 miles from where these were Customized and built by Choo Choo Customs in Chattanooga Tn. This El Camino would make a great one to just drive as is with the original patina, or repaint. The original finish is tired. However this one is straight and rust free. Mechanical wise - this one drives well. The 15" Chevrolet Aluminum SS wheels were recently installed with brand new tires. The original rally wheels are available as well if you want them. The front end was checked, parts replaced as necessary alignment was also done when the wheels and new tires were installed. They have less than 150 miles on them.
