1967 Chev/C-10 1/2 Ton 4x4 73 - 350 engine 73 - 350 Turbo - hydro 3 speed auto transmission 72 - #205 4x4 transfer case 79 - front & rear differentials with "lock-outs" 3:08/1 ratio 76- Monte Carlo tilt column 65- Chev shortbox bed. stepside Odometer now reads 78000 miles. You have to do a little math with the speedometer. 20mph is actually 30mph. 35 is 50. and so on. . because of oversized tires. Originally a 67. 2 wheel drive. long bed. shortened with a 65 short bed. and made 4 wheel drive. Before I bought it. front shocks replaced in 1998. repainted in 1999. new water pump in 2000. new radiator and complete steering replacement in 2001. and the Heater core and windshield in 2002. Recent repairs - 2/13 New Black 3 pt. Retractable Seat belts. and lap Belt Installed. $270 - 2/13 New Header Gasket. Holley Carb. Spark plugs. fuel filter $1227 - 3/13 Replaced all 4 ball joints. LF u-joint. LF wheel bearings. front $1240 hub seals. drag link & adj sleeves. tie rod ends & adj sleeve. RF wheel studs. & rear drive shaft. -6/13 New Glass Pacs. Pipes. $250 -1/14 Full service upgrades Oil change. wipers. fluids flush $110 -1/14 New Battery. Alternator. Voltage Regulator and wire pigtail $300 -1/14 Replaced right wheel cylinder. axel brake line. $95 -3/14 New left front brake. rotor. caliber. hose. New front brake pads. New rear brake shoes. resurfaced drums. New rear pinion seal. Rear diff. drained/refilled/lubed. New master cylinder. $780 Totaling $4. 72 Cons-Needs new tires pretty soon. Needs door mirrors. Tail lights (Which are basic trailer lights) currently not working. but both brake. and blinkers DO work. She's my daily driver. and she's never NOT started for me. even at 20 below. I do believe though that my timing is slightly off. and and an exaust leak. cause although she doesn't run any different. I hear what sounds like one. The timing only affects how she sounds when I start it. She drives down the road. like a dream. and I'd trust driving her cross country. even with the tires. 4 wheel drive always works. although getting her out of 4 wheel drive takes a couple tries. every once in a while. It has all components of a/c. except the compressor. and it's not hooked up. Finally. it's hard to see. but someone touched up the paint on the sides. in a couple areas. with a slightly different color. and if you look close. you see it. The interior is in great shape. It's black. The original bench seat is cracking. but I have a seat cover on it. Exterior has minor rust in bed. and step sides. and driver rocker panel is pretty soft. She looks old underneath. but she's completely solid; frame. front end. and rear. Drives down the road like new. Blows hot heat.
