Description for Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 1977

My brother and I bought this 1977 C20 two years ago for our company. We just wanted a cool vintage truck to slap some stake sides on and cruise around town. But we probably bit off more than we could chew when it comes to mechanics...
Here's the deal: we're not experts, so when we bought it we didn't know what to look for and didn't realize it wouldn't pass California's strict smog requirements (even though the guy we bought it from had it passed for smog a few months earlier, but we missed the 6 month cutoff for that to transfer to us, so we got screwed). It passes the emissions part, but fails the visual part because of the aftermarket headers and such. Ergo, it currently has an "incomplete" registration because it won't fully pass. We're not totally sure what to do anymore to get it up to par, plus we live in LA so it's hard to justify a beefy truck like this in small spaces. It's time to sell it.
It runs great and could be perfect for a buyer outside of California's strict laws. But maybe the fixes are easier than we think and you're a CA buyer that knows exactly what to do. Either way, we've put some work into it and here's the shortlist, most recent to oldest:
  • 12/30/16 - Oil/filter change (high mileage stuff), tire rotation, brake inspection, new wipers
  • 10/1/2015 - New Cylinder heads/gaskets, thermostat, transmission fluid/filter
  • 3/5/2015 - New Alternator, New Heater hose
  • 1/23/2015 - New Front Brakes and Rotors
  • 1/14/2015 - New Windshield and retaining ring
The only outstanding mechanical issues are a slow leak in the transmission pan gasket, as well as the transmission fluid line that goes to the radiator. I would have had them fixed recently, but the shop didn't have the right hose in stock. So rather than do the pan gasket and hose separately and have to drain the tran fluid twice, I held off to better do it all at once.
As far as mileage goes, I'm not 100% confident about what the odometer shows. Because one, the speedo wasn't working when we first bought because the plastic speedo gear down in the transmission was broken, so we got that fixed. And two, because that odometer may have gone around once already, I don't know. But when my mechanic replaced the heads last year, he said everything looked good in there. So I'll take his vote of confidence over an arbitrary number.

That's all I got for now. Hit me up with questions.
