WITH A MANUAL TRANSMISSION,THIS IS THE STRAIGHTEST,MOST COMPLETE,SOLID EXAMPLES I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS,OR SEEN.THIS TRUCK IS TRULY A ONE OF A KIND AS FAR AS MILES,CONDITION,AND OVERALL APPEARANCE,PICTURESDO NOT DO THIS TRUCK JUSTICE, THE PATINA IS PERFECT, THIS TRUCK IS ARROW STRAIGHT,NO BODY DAMAGE,GRILLE,RUNNING BOARDS,BUMPER,PERFECT,DOORS,FENDERS, HOOD,CAB,ROCKERS,FLOORS,BED,PERFECT, GET THE PICTURE?? ALMOST 40YRS IN THE AUTO BUSINESS, I HAVE NEVER, EVER, SEEN A VINTAGE STAKE TRUCK THIS STRAIGHT,THIS SOLID, THIS COMPLETE, THE ORIGINAL RED PAINT IS STILL ON THE WOOD IN PLACES, FRAME STILL HAS BLACK PAINT ON IT,AROUND THE STEEL DECK OF THE FLAT BED, THAT IS STILL RED, STILL HAS THE YELLOW HAND PAINTED REFLECTIVE PIN STRIPES ON THE HIGH SPOTS, THIS TRUCK IS AMAZING. I PUT AN 8 VOLT TRACTOR BATTERY IN IT AND PUSHED THE STARTER BUTTON ON THE FLOOR,AND IT TURNED RIGHT OVER, RAN A HOT WIRE TO THE COIL AND BATTERY, PUT A LITTLE GAS DOWN THE CARB, IT TURNED MAYBE 3 TIMES AND STARTED THEN STALLED, A FRESH TUNE UP, FRESH GAS, AND INSTALL THE NEW ALUMINUM RAD. AND IT WILL RUN NO PROBLEM.THE TRUCK STILL HAS THE GRAIN/CORN SHOOT ON THE REAR OF THE BED WITH THE RELEASE DOOR AND HANDLE. THIS TRUCK HAS 29,071 ACTUAL MILES AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE, IN THE TRUCK I FOUND A SMALL NOTE PAD, AS SEEN ALSO IN PICTURE,IT SAYS " OIL CHANGE,APRIL 15, 1985, 28,845, MEANING THE TRUCK WAS DRIVEN 126 MILES AFTER THE OIL CHANGE,THEN PARKED FOR 32YRS. IT WAS SOLD TO A LARGE YARD ABOUT 9 OR 10YRS AGO, THE TRUCK WAS STARTED, DRIVEN ONTO A HAULER, DRIVEN BACK OFF, AND STORED INSIDE, AS IT WAS WHEN PARKED BACK IN 1985, THAT EXPLAINS THE UNREAL OVERALL CONDITION OF I, THE ONLY THING NEEDING TO BE FIXED IS THE FRONT SEAT, NEEDS TO BE RE-DONE, OR, THROW AN INDIAN BLANKET OVER IT AND CALL IT GOOD.TIRES ARE ALL OK, AND HOLD AIR, IT ROLLS AND STEERS, AND I MAY GET IT RUNNING IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.IT DOES NEED BRAKE WORK, EITHER BLEED THEM, OR I WOULD GO THROUGH THEM DUE TO AGE,BUT I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THEY WOULD BLEED OUT AND WORK GOOD ENOUGH TO DRIVE THE TRUCK AROUND. THE GUY I PURCHASED IT FROM IS LOOKING FOR THE TITLE, IF NOT FOUND, I WILL BOND IT AND APPLY FOR A CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME,AND THAT WILL GO WITH THE TRUCK, I MAY HAVE TO SEND IT TO YOU, BUT YOU WILL GET A TITLE,UNLESS YOU CHOOSE TO GET ONE, IN MANY STATES A TITLE CAN BE AQUIRED WITH A BILL OF SALE,WHICH I WILL PROVIDE.
