Brief History:
I purchased the Camaro in November of 2011 from Atlas Muscle Cars, out of Texas. The car had some good base features but has been extensively modified since the purchase date (see list above). This Camaro is purely a muscle car personalized for pleasure driving. It looks like a show car when you are out driving around as it is a real head turner but is strictly a hotrod. The paint job is excellent and the lines are super straight and clean.
Disclosures: The car has no ac or heat, but rarely mattered as it was never driven in the elements (rain, snow or even strong winds). It was always meticulously stored in my garage under the included hail cover, to provide peace of mind when family walks around the car, you’ll have no fear of damaging this classic. The last two upgrades I was going to make before I ran out of money was to add power steering and the vintage air (ac/heating system), so these might be fun upgrades to consider.
There are minor paint imperfections in various parts of the car because, as I said this was not a show car, but a car I drove for the pure joy of owning a classic Camaro. You really have to look for the imperfections but I will point them out for the sake of disclosure. Locations: passenger side roof, passenger door, passenger back bottom quarter panel. All of these have been touched up with a bottle of touch up paint that will be included with the sale, along with the paint codes if you ever need to repaint any portions of the car in the future.
In December of 2016, a complete overhaul of the heads was completed, as well as retuning the EZ Fast System as the EVC Module had to be replaced due to a manufacturer’s defect. The system has been retuned but is still in the process of “learning”, which is done strictly through driving the car, as it learns as you drive. Depending on where you live, you may have to have the EFI adjusted for your specific elevation, as I live in New Mexico at 5,300 feet, so my specs may be vastly different than yours.
Finally, the reason I’m selling the car is due to a death in the family which unfortunately caused a significant financial hardship. And as you know the first things to go when you need money is the toys in our garage. My hope is this car finds an owner who will provide the same TLC that I did and will enjoy the true blessing of owning/driving such a beautiful and fun car.Click here to download a PDF of all of this information and additional photos
