1958 Chevy Apache 3100 an Original Texas truck with Texas title. was purchased about twenty years ago. The body was completely disassembled and stripped. it was epoxy primed. The only rust on the vehicle was on the lower front fender and both cab corners. Both front fenders have been patched and the cab corners have been cut out but not finished for the new replacement corners that I have. The front clip has been updated from the original straight axle. with a 1978? Cadillac Seville front clip and disc brake rear end. Rear end is missing calipers; the front end will accept various GM engines. The upgraded power steering front clip with disk brakes has only lowered the front end about an inch and will handle very well. There is no other rust on truck other than what has already been stated. Bed sides. cab. cab floor. front fenders. and the doors are EXCEPTIONALLY WELL FOR BEING ORIGINAL. the only dent is a small one on the front of the hood that can easily be fixed. Tailgate should be replaced as it does have dents. This truck came with some options that are very uncommon: original radio with delete plate. drivers side mount mirror with mirror delete plate. side mount spare. dual sun visors. and recessed bumper to accept full drop down tailgate. dual ashtrays with one delete plate and many spare parts. It does have all its original chrome badging in excellent condition. right and left keyed door handles. nbsp;and both rear steps. It will need wiring harness. glass. and seat. I have installed a 1988 Chevy automatic steering column with tilt and cruise options. Comes with five 15X7 GM Rally rims with center caps. need cleaning and paint. Truck is clean and the hard work is done. just needs to be finished. Selling because twenty year old dream is becoming to far out of reach. I think the price is FAIR for what has already been done to the truck. you do the math to find this truck as is. With the disassemble. cleaning. stripping. very little metal work. priming. front clip conversion. and still in original matching Texas title.
