Auto restoration shop offers this restored 1963 Chevy C10 pickup step-side short bed. I bought this truck for myself last spring 95% completed. I have a folder with 1 ½ inches of receipts from the previous owner on this build. The truck has 669 miles on it since completion. This is a simple hot rod build that does not take a lot of mechanical knowledge to own. As a licensed auto appraiser. I call this truck an excellent driver quality build. Built to show and go. built to be driven and enjoyed. I’ve built and been around many of these trucks that have received perfect 75-100k restorations. they are not driven. This is a 40-45k retail restoration. meaning it’s a head turner. but not a 1000 point show vehicle. I’m selling this truck and another personal 1972 K10 to help finance my growing business. I believe 1963 model year are emission exempt in all 50 states. but check yours to be sure. GM crate motors are expensive. they are so easy to dial in. run well. last a long time. Aluminum 4 barrel intake with Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. HEI ignition. power steering. front disc brake conversion. JEGS TH-350 automatic transmission. 12 bolt rear axle (full rebuild 3. 23 gears). fuel tank under the bed. 4 in drop in the rear. 3 in front. I just added tubular A arms a few days ago. truck needs a 4 way alignment after the A arm install. will be done before I send it out. Electric fan on radiator. Completely re-wired. Headers to dual exhaust with glass-pack mufflers. Has a nice hot rod rumble to it without being obnoxious. Full Auto-meter gauges in the dash. BODY This truck came from the high desert in Boise Idaho. The body was good prior to restoration. Painted what I call Richard Petty blue. there is some extra paint included with the truck. The paint job is decent driver quality. being very nit-picky I’m sure you could find a small imperfection somewhere. I have not seen any rust bubbles popping out or anything serious. The interior is all new or refurbished. from the receipts most of the parts came from Brother’s trucks. Tires are good. on GM wheels/caps. New body mounts. New Kenwood audio system. Overall. this is a nice truck and restoration built to be driven and shown. I have this on a no-reserve bid to buy auction. this is right before the time of year most people think about buying a truck like this. I need to free up money so take advantage. I just had my tech go through this truck end to end. only thing I can think of it needs is the alignment after the tube A arm install last week. I have a clean/clear WA state title in my name in hand for this truck.
