Description for Chevrolet 3800 Series 1953

Up for auction is a one owner, low miles, nicely patina'd farm truck. It is a 3800 series with a 9-foot box.

It is largely original with only 37,000 miles. This truck proudly sports its scratches and bruises from the career as a farm truck in Hillsdale, Michigan. It rarely saw the road and was parked in the barn during the winter to help keep it solid.

The paint will probably shine but we think it looks great with the faded patina look.

The straight 6-cylinder engine runs perfectly. The previous owner always used a lead additive. The transmission is a 4-speed manual on the floor which includes a granny gear. It shifts great. Wheels are 17 inch.

The breaks are in perfect order and the truck has had a few of the brake lines replaced.

Interior is pretty good but showing a little wear at the top of the seat. The headliner is there but could be replaced or removed.

A deposit of 10% is due 2 days of the auction's end. Cash or certified check is ok. This deposit does not provide you with a chance to inspect to decide if you want to buy the vehicle. You already have bought it!

Balance is due within 7 days of auction close. For the balance due, we will only accept cash ON DELIVERY (in person) or a certified check. Vehicle and title will not be released until funds clear.
