Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1975
27,000 actual milesThis beauty has never seen rain or snow. No rust anywhere. It has numbers matching engine and transmission. The car has a brand new complete dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers. Also has new brake calipers, power steering pump, power steering control valve and hoses. There were only 366 convertibles optioned with the L82 engine in 1975. I have a small folder of documentation on the including original bill of sale as well as the service book, owners manual, and even the knock outs from the original GM keys. The paint is very nice but does have some stone chips from driving. There is a small stress crack on the front right side quarter at the nose. The car was partially repainted when it was new due to poor factory paint quality. I have contacted the original owner who ordered the car in '75 and he confirmed this. The AIR system was removed years ago. I do not have it. The urethane bumpers are originals and have just recently begun to crack. Any original components that I removed and replaced will go along with the car if you want them.

A little more history...
In talking to the original owner on the phone, he confirmed to me the car was repainted by the dealer under GM warranty due to the poor factory paint. The dealer he ordered it from was allocated 10 Corvettes in 1975, this one being the last one delivered to that dealer. He was able to select which options he wanted on the car. Most L82 Corvettes made were highly optioned. This one is not which makes it pretty unique. No power bakes, no air conditioning. Also adding to the uniqueness is the Gymkhana suspension and high-altitude axle ratio. The original owner sold the car in 1977 to a manager at Crestmont Cadillac in Cleveland, Ohio. He owned the car until 1995 when he sold it to his cousin. The car was sold again in 2010 to the individual whom I purchased it from.
