Up for your consideration is a 3 owner 1981 Chevrolet Corvette with only 63297 original documented miles. Owned by a 62 year old gentleman for the last 23 plus years that he purchased in April of 1994. He barely drove this Corvette as he only put on 8486 miles in those 23 plus years. This Corvette has been kept inside with no inclement driving. I am a friend of this gentleman and he has asked me to assist him in selling his Corvette. He has decided to let this Corvette go so someone else can have the enjoyment that he has had.
Some of the Particulars
The original color is charcoal metallic and with the exception of rear bumper cover the paint appears to be the original paint. The paint does show some age as the top surfaces have faded somewhat. The sides look very good and also the front bumper cover does have some spidering in the paint. There is no fiberglass damage, the body is all original. Again, with no inclement driving, the undercarriage shows very well, the factory aluminum wheels show very nice with no curb rash.
The black leather interior is extremely nice, the dash has no cracks and door panels are in very good condition. The leather seats were recovered a few years ago along with all new carpeting with new floor mats. Work was professionally done and looks brand new. Overall, the interior is excellent and looks great. All weather stripping is in good condition including T-top weather stripping. The factory T-top bags are like new.
As far as standard accessories and options all perform the way they should with the exception of the power antenna. The only modification was an AM-FM CD stereo which was installed to replace the original radio.

As far as the mechanicals the 5.7, 350 engine mated with the automatic transmission perform flawlessly with no issues or strange noises. The air conditioning system has been converted to 134A and works very well. All maintenance has been done as needed and has just been recently serviced. This Corvette drives very nice and is very evident there has been no abuse to this automobile.
