Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1969

1969 camaro ss. i am the 3rd owner of this car. previous owner purchased it in 1978 and was sold to me in 2014. it has been in dry strorage for many years(22+). it is pretty much complete and needs restoration. the good is for the most part the car has never been restored. atched up or taken apart. it does run and will drive onto a trailer but is not road worthy. car looks worse then what it is!options: tilt steering column. console with gauges. actory tach and clock in the dash. am radio. s wheels(all 5). ower disc brakes. anual steering. 11 trim package. ear spoiler. 12 bolt possi rear end. i did remove the back seat and found the x11 marking from the factory. i can send a picture if wanted. ENGINE: 350 4 barrel. not the original to the car. from what i found it is a 1971. i put fresh gas and a battery in it 2 weeks ago and the engine fired up. it does run and ides good but it does bog/pop when under a load so it will need tune up. arb work. or rebuild. doesnt smoke or knock but please keep in mind this car has been in storage for many years. i do have a 1969 350(300hp code) that i was going to rebuild and use in the car. it is not included but i would sell it to the buyer for extra cost. TRANSMISSION: 4 speed muncie that is original to the car. it has the vin number on the case. the numbers on it are P9M31 19N511023. i did drive the car around my large circle driveway and the transmission shifts fine. i have picture to verify the vin stamp. REAR AXLE: the dates on the rear end line up with the car. the numbers on it are BS 0829G2 E according to that it is a 12 bolt 3:31 possi. by driving it. it is a possi. INTERIOR: the interior is original to the car from the carpet to the headliner. the dash is uncut and has the original am radio which works fine. has console with gauges. actory tach and clock in the dash. tilt steering column. riginal ss steering wheel. all the seat belts are in it. the interior looks to be complete. front seats have rips. arpet is ripped. door panels show there age. BODY: the underside floors/frame/rockers all look good. the trunk floor is also nice. the outer body has rust. will need work/replace rear quarters/outer wheel housings/front fenders. there is rust on the doors as well with the drivers side being worse then passenger side. underside of the hood and trunk lid look good. tail panel has dents. keep in mind the car hasn not been patched up what you see is what it is. the glass looks good as well as the window trim. i do have the head light grill trim that is off in the pictures. this is a great car if you are looking for one to restore. it has been in dry storage for 22+ years. the clock and temp gauge were not working when i drove it around the yard 2 weeks ago but eveything else was- radio comes in clear and sounds good. tach. il. uel. il pressure. olt gauges all worked as well as the turn signals and lights. tilt steering column is tight and not floppy. it has all 5 ss wheels and the bumper jack in the trunk. tires are old and currently has open headers so it is loud. if the car doesnt sell i plan to put the other engine in it. replace the tires and exhaust and drive it and have fun with it the way it is this summer! body tag reads: ST69 12437 NOR 1067902 BDY TR 718 69 B PAINT 09C is the datei have an extra drivers front fender extention(used original part). new front grill. and the original 2 head light grill trim peices that go with it. i have for extra cost to the buyer if wanted 1969 350 engine for rebuilding. used original front fenders(need lower patches). ront valance. and some other misc parts. they are not included and would probably have to be shipped seperate form the car. i also have a 1969 X77D80 numbers matching 302 z28 that i would sell it is the process of a restoration and needs assembly. it is all painted and has many parts to complete. it is also factory cortez silver. it is apart. i do have more pictures i can email. if you have any questions please ask. car is sold as is.
