Call…  706-831-1899 Up for auction is a 1954 Chevy 5-window pickup truck. This truck has been off-frame restored and it is absolutely a drop dead knockout. The truck is an original all steel and rust free South Carolina truck. The restoration was completed in 2014 and it has 396 miles on the speedometer since that time. The paint is factory color GM Bermuda Green (28157601) with Pueblo Tan interior (25357601 GM). The body is straight and the paint is nice and slick. As mentioned above it is all steel and rust free. Everything is either new or restored. It has all new glass and rubber seals. restored painted bumpers and grill. new door handles. all new lights and bezels including turn signals. new hubcaps on restored wheels with new 225/75R15 radial tires. It has new stainless steel tailgate chains and a new oak bed with 8 coats of West Marine sealer. The Interior is restored to original with upgraded new heater box and turn signals. It also has new upgraded wiring with a 12 volt system. It has heat and sound barrier under the floor mat and a drop down battery box. All of the lights. turn signals. horn. and the e-brake work as it should. Engine and Drivetrain: This pickup is just as nice mechanically as it is cosmetically with the original 235ci 6-cylinder which was completely rebuilt to original by Wade Dunaway of Dunaway rebuilt engines in Washington. GA. The steering is excellent and so is the braking. It has a new shifter linkage box and new shocks and brakes and brake lines. This truck is dependable and a real pleasure to drive. All restored parts were sandblasted and treated with Eastwood. This is a super nice and high quality pickup. Quality restored 5-window Chevy’s are getting harder to find and this one with the rare Bermuda Green color is a real good find so don’t miss out.
