Description for Chevrolet C-10 1975

Rare, 1975 Chevy C-10 SWB with factory 454 and Turbo 400 transmissionand FACTORY WORKING AIR CONDITION. I will never come close to getting what I paid for this pickup and what I have into it, but I want it gone, so here it goes. This is a driver quality pickup, not a show quality pickup, but it is a rare, desirable combination. This is a numbers matching engine except for the headers and carburetor, I don't have the original carb or exhaust manifolds, but they are not hard to obtain. I bought the pickup about 9 months ago, drove it from Texas to Oregon and have put less than 500 miles on it since having it stored in an airplane hangar in Oregon. Odometer reads 44,XXX, probably 144,XXX. I have put quite a bit of money into the pickup since purchase. Since acquiring the pickup I have installed new carpet, put on5 new Michelin tires (spare included), installed a flywheel cover, installed a hi torque mini starter, had the rear brakes rebuilt, new rear main seal, new transmission seal and gasket, had the carburetor rebuilt, and the timing correctly set with an overall engine tune up. The pickup really runs and shifts well. The interior is decent shape with a few flaws in a previous restoration. I have installed new carpet, the seat is in good shape with no rips, and the aftermarket dash pad has no cracks. The A/C works, but could use a charging. The voltmeter is the only gage not working. There is very little altering to this pickup, it has never been lowered. I know nothing about the previous history of this pickup and what was done to it before I bought it, other than what is obvious. The body is an older repaint, and I would describe it as fair. All of the trim is there, but thereare obvious flaws in the attachment to the body. I have a written appraisal of this vehicle, before the work I put in of $17,500. I believe that is high. I'm not looking to game anyone with this sell. I have no desire to have this vehicle and simply want it gone. I am selling this pickup with no implied warranty what so ever, and will only take a wire transfer as payment. Shipping will be completely up to the buyer. I have a clean Oregon title in my hand. I'm sure I have left some things out, so please contact me if you have any serious questions. This pickup is currently for sale locally and I will end this auction if the vehicle is purchased before the end of auction.
