Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1985

1985 Corvette owned by a master painter who took this car to the next level. He switched out the rear fascia for a ZR1 and alsoreplaced the front fascia with an '86 fascia. No, it wasn't the result of a crash.....he liked the look. Speaking of looks, the paint isChrysler Dark Garnet Red. The clear coatswere blocked to a point where the car lookslike it was dipped in gloss. The is noorange peal. The photos do the color justice. The exception is the photo of the hood'sghost flames. (I changed the f stop to gettheghost flames to become apparent which made the hood much more redder.) The interior is in very good condition as the car has been in a climate controlled shop all of it's life. It has never been exposed tosmoke of any kind. The seats are not ripped,holed, cracked or stained. The leather has alwaysbeen treated and cared for. The dash is not cracked or pealing. The instruments are clean and functional. The sound system was upgraded with a Sony withiPod capacity. The carpets are clean and not worn or faded. The AC blows very cold. There are no rock chips in the windshield.It has two car covers: one dust cover and one padded cover.
The car has 114600 miles on it- the good news is thatthe 4 speed automatic has been rebuilt by a competent shop within thelast 3000 miles and the Tuned Port hasall new "o" rings and all new injectors installed. It has a Magnaflow exhaust system. Nothing drips,leaks, or smokes. It drives straight and solid with no vibration. The spare tire is good. The tires are newer Rinkin 275/40ZR17 with at least 3.9mm of tread. The wheels are unblemished chrome 17 inch C5 Z06 wheels.
There areNO mechanical issues. Other than disclosing what is not correct above, we wish to be up front with what is wrong with the car. The removable glass tophasa crack in a corner (see photo), There arefive rock chips on the front fascia indicated with blue painters tape (see photos)and thepassenger side rear mirror has an edge that is touched up (see photo),one of the inside hood dome lights is missing (seephoto),the rear defogger does not function. There is two tiny bumps on the surface of the hood (see photo).
