Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1968

Very good condition, not many in this shape any more. 70,000 miles, original paint, top, and interior. Includes numbers matching original-stock 396 motor (325 HP), trans tag, rear end with Protect-O-Plate documentation. Previous owner bought the car from a Barrett Jackson auction in Arizona. Car has lived it's life in dryAZ and CA, parked in a garage. Grecian green exterior, gold interior.

Comes with these original factory options: SS 396, TH400 with center console and horseshoe shifter, 3.31 posi, AC, power and tilt steering, power brakes, power windows, cruise control, and rear window defrost.

Includes original jack, all 4 wheels and hub caps; complete motor with heads, intake and oil pan removed; original chrome valve covers and chrome air cleaner assembly. All the original parts shown, including factory SS hood with chrome inserts in same great shape as rest of body (dark picture since stored in rafters), and factory front chrome bumper (also in rafters-dark picture). Small rust hole lower front fender behind wheel (see picture).

Car currently has a 11.25compression 750 horsepower 468" motor, with: 315cc 2.25/1.88 ported Edelbrock heads, SRP pistons with back cut 1/16" rings, Carrillo H beam rods, internally balanced Cola forged crank with ATI balancer, Isky solid roller cam, Jezel shaft rockers and belt drive, Merlin single plane intake with Barry Grant carb. Valvetrain and rotating assembly uses all light weight and low friction components for acceleration. Electric water and fuel pumps, engine oil accumulator tank, Griffin radiator, reverse valve body manual shift TH400 transmission with trans brake and 3800 Continental converter, 4.88 gears with Mark Williams spool, axles, bearing caps and C-clip eliminator kit, after-market light weight front bumper, 15 gal fuel cell. All parts carefully planned out and assembled. All the best American made parts and machine work used, no cost was spared. Car has never been raced, and current motor, trans and rear end configuration have only a few hundred miles on them. Put together with the intention to be a fast street car and raced every once in a while, but has sat in garage like this for past several years.

Additional pictures available, can try to send video of it running or do face-time or similar, car is located in Huntington Beach, CA and available to inspect in person. Car starts and drives as expected.

I'm helping a friend sell this car, we live in the same town a few miles apart, so will coordinate responses to answers and make arrangements to inspect fairly quick. Thanks
