Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1968
Hi I'm selling a 1968 Chevy Camaro "Real" SS Coupe. This car was fully restored less then a year ago and about 95% of the car is brand new. No rust or rot anywhere on the car, super solid and new metal throughout. To begin this was a Southern car, so all the bones were in great shape. The car was sandblasted and taken down to bare metal. The whole car was apart (doors, fenders, quarters, sub-frame, trunk, hood, interior everything, it was just a bare shell). Once it got to that stage we decided to go nuts and replace almost all the panels. Here is the list of all new panels that were put on the car and other parts that went with them:New Parts Front Of The Car:New Left fenderNew Right fenderNew Both front fender wellsNew Front header panelNew Front lower valance panelNew Radiator support coreNew Front Cowl Vent PanelNew 2" Cowl Hood (Original SS hood was damaged accidentally by the body shop)New GrillAll new "SS" badgesNew chrome bumperNew bumper bracketsAll new nuts and boltsNOS hoodhingesFully taken apart and sand blaster front sub-frame.All new suspension(shocks, ball joints, upper/lower control arms bushings etc..)
Middle Of The Car:New Both Door skinsNew RockersNew floor panelNew door hinges
Back Of The Car:New right quarterNew left quarter (both replace at factory weld mark, half way to the roof)New trunk lidNew NOS spoilerNew tail light panelNew chrome bumperNew bumper bracketsNew tail lightsNew gas tankNew shocks
Besides all that, we put on all brand new badges throughout, new door handles, new "SS" fuel tank lid/cover, new front and rear window molding (with new molding clips), new mirrors, new 17" wheels with new tires (less then 1000 miles on them) on all four corners, new front and rear side marker lights, basically you get the idea and that was just the outside of the car.The inside of the car is all new as well. Starting with the motor, the original block was cracked so a fully built 383 Stroker motor was put in instead. Pushing around 400hp this car moves (fast). The motor also got a few upgrades as well such as, HEI electronic ignition (no points, more reliable), new fan, rebuilt radiator, headders, new dual exhaust with mufflers front to back, power steering, power brakes, new brake lines, new gas lines, new E-brake lines (yes emergency brakes work better then factory), all new hoses throughout, new wiring harness (new wires and connections going from headlights to tail lights and everything in between)includes a new fuse box. A fully serviced 4 Speed manual trans was also installed and it shifts great.
Moving on to the interior. As you guessed it, every panels was replaced, even if it didn't need to be, we still did it anyway... So starting with a new dash pad, new custom center console, built in aftermarket gauges, Hurst shifter, all new front and rear door panels, new seats, new steering wheel, new carpet, new headliner, new dome light(lost the cover) new inner pillars, new sail panels, new door sills, new weather stripping all around, new arm restsand new pads, new window cranks, new interior door handles....Besides putting everything new inside the car, we dynamated the whole car as well (floors, roof, door, trunk). Not really sure what else I'm forgetting but you get the basics. This is literallya brand new 1968 Chevy Camaro that will last you another 50 years. The paint shines great, with minor imperfectionsfrom normal use. I can't even begin to tell you how much time and money was spent on this car. Just in parts alone not including all the metalwork.
Overall this is one Camaro that will bring you joy for years to come. Don't miss your chance on owning a new 1968 Camaro. This is a turn key car with less then 1000 miles on the build, you can take this car cross country anytime. I'm sure i'm forgetting a lot of other things at this moment but you are getting a whole lot of car without doing all the crazy work. This will be a No Reserve auction, meaning the highest bidder wins the car. It is sold in as-is condition, feel free to contact me with any questions, offers or to inspect the car in person prior to bidding.
