Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1963
I have owned this car since 1996. I traded a 2 year old vette for it at the time. It spent it's whole life in Pennsylvania till I got it in 96. In 21 years that I have had it, I might have put 1500 miles. I just don't drive it. I put it in storage in 2003 and never took it out till last year. Then I decided to sell at that point. The tires have flat spots from sitting and should have new ones. I did drive it 200 miles the last 2 weeks. Then motor is not original, but I do have the date correct 340hp that would need putting together. I bought several things for the engine like a GM solid lifter cam purchased 20 years ago that you probably would never find now. Original aluminum intake, original carb, original finned balancer, original 2.5 in exhaust manifolds, new aftermarket air cleaner, block, crank, rods, double hump heads that are ready to put on. Basically you would need to buy forged pistons and rebuild it. The car is priced with the motor in it which runs great. Not sure what it is but I would guess 70-72 vintage small block cause of the small pad and 2 dig letters.Car does not come with the 340 hp engine in pieces. If you want that, it is 2500.00. That motor together is worth 6-7 grand. The car is not a show car but very nice. I did steam clean underside of car and paint frame satin black. It is very solid and very straight. This car has never been in a accident. I looked it over front to back carefully before I bought it. With my 40 years of autobody experience and doing several frame up restorations on vettes I would be able to tell. The bird cage is perfect also. I do not have to sell this car and I surely do not want to trade unless it's for another early vette needing restoration . I want cash in hand only when picked up. No other form of payment will be accepted except for deposit. NY transferrable registration will be handed over when payment has been made.I have already took a deposit 2 weeks ago and deal fell through cause of not having the funds. If you want to bid make sure you have funds ready. If you do not have 25 positive feedbacks your bid will be deleted. I am tired of people wasting there time and MINE !
