In an age where the the salesman was king an entirely new line of cars were created just for them. Combining storage. reliability. and luxury Chevrolet created the perfect traveling machine. This 1940 Chevrolet was just completely gone through with multiple components rebuilt ensuring that it is ready for the road and car shows. The chrome and trim that graces the exterior is incredibly unique with the front grill having an awesome look. The car is painted a deep Burgundy paint which looks perfect next to all that chrome. It rides on the vintage wheels with chrome hubcaps with thin white wall tires. The 235 CI 6 cylinder runs very strong and has zero issues. The Chevrolet valve cover is coated in grey and really cleans up the look of the engine. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts very smoothly and is really easy to use. There are no problems at all with this classic. All of the electrical has been converted to a 12 volt system and working as it should. This update makes finding replacement parts a lot easier than for a 6 volt system. The car has also been updated with dual exhaust which sounds great. The entire front suspension was reworked which greatly improved the ride. This is an extremely good driver and very fun to cruise around in. The interior is completed in tan cloth and is very comfortable. In true business coupe style in place of a rear seat is a large storage area. Seatbelts have been added because the originals did not have them. The dash is all original and looks great. Even the original style AM radio is still in place. All of the gauges are working properly including the clock which is a rare statement when it comes to classic cars. The classic steering wheel is in great condition and has to be one of the most unique made. The trunk is finished out nicely and has tons of storage space. Even with the spare tire the trunk still has plenty of room. so whether youre a car show hobbyist or feel like sneaking into the drive in this is the car for you.
