Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1973
You are viewing a low mileage L-82 Original (factory)Paint Survivor, with its original matching # engine and 4 speed transmission. There are a number of things that can make a Corvette rare. Whether it's options, or colors, or model, however, not much beats Original Paint, which has now become the most coveted in rarity. Nothing documents Never Hit, better than factory original paint. For those of you not so familiar with identifying this condition, I have taken photos at the right angle, in natural lighting. Please take notice of darker lines that appear at certain angles, where the bonding strips were mated originally, and show through the original paint, and can't be duplicated. This special car spent 39 of its 44 years out of sunlight, in a climate controlled environment, preserved for its next owner. The original engine has been rebuilt to almost twice the power, and performs as new. It also comes with a complete fuel injection unit, if someone feels the need to experiment a little. The frame rust freeand smooth with no pitting anywhere, and has not been repainted either. The lastspecial unique Corvette I owned, I sold to Nicolas Cage, so I though it would be kind of cool to photograph this one, at theFrancis Ford Coppola winery, here in Sonoma County, so come have a look, and spend some time here. There's a lot of history on the estate, even a Tucker. Make a vacation of it, and ship or drive home a great Corvette. The reserve is not as high as you think. I have over 140 photos, so if you need to see a specific area, just ask, and I'll forward what you want. I can ship worldwide to your door, Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding.
