Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1986
I am selling my IROC Z-28. This vehicle is in amazing condition. I purchased it from RK Motors about 6 years ago and have only driven it about 230 miles since I bought it. I am ready to sell her to a new owner. Vehicle has only 38,264 original miles. My IROC received a comprehensive repaintabout 8 years ago and looksabsolutely beautiful.Body gaps are excellent and the paint finish is better then GM was putting on it's Chevy's back in 1986. New andcorrect decals were installed at the same time, and all the original emblems were reinstalled.
The IROC is powered by it's original 305 LG4 engine, which is the last of thecarborated Camaro's. This IROC has it's factory 4barrelRochester Quadrajet carburetor. The engine compartment is highly original and it is obvious by looking at it thevehicle has never been driven in the snow or salt. Everything is clean, shiny and original.
The real appeal of my IROC is the 5-Speedmanual transmission behind the small block V-8. The vast majority of Camaro'sof this era were automatics. But if you like to shift through the gears while rumbling down theroad, this is the vehicle for you. Everything underneath is in excellent condition.
The gray cloth interior has been well maintained during the life of this vehicle. The bolsters on the driver's seat show a slight amount of wear but the rest of the seats are excellent. The automatic latch on the trunk works properly, and struts still open the heavy glass hatch effortlessly. I like the fact this is not a T-top car which means the platform is sturdy and tight.
This IROC is a lightweight, no frills and maximum durability classic. It is drop dead gorgeous in bright red and is incredibly well preservedthorough out.
