1963 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

This car has been off the road since 1987. We took the car on trade. It has been in the previous owners basement since 87, before that the car was owned by one of my family members who sold the car to this guy. We poured some gas in the carb and it fired right up, It will stay running once you pour some gas down the carb but wont start on its own, I'm sure the carb needs rebuilt. Its a small block, I have not ran the numbers on it. I don't know if its the original or not. The car has a 4 speed, its not a factory 4 speed car. The brakes work fine. We have drove the car around the parking lot. Its not road worthy, it needs completely gone over before driving. The car had a repaint sometime in the mid 80's. Its a driver quality job and still looks decent. The car has some rust underneath as you can see in the pics. The floor pans have some small holes. We have some chrome but not all of it. The top is in great shape and works great its manual. The seats are in nice shape, they were redone before it was parked.
